Vibration Behavior in Nothing OS Feels Unintuitive

Mir ist etwas am Vibrationsverhalten von Nothing-Telefonen (einschließlich meines Phone 2a Plus) aufgefallen, das sich etwas unintuitiv anfühlt und sich von den meisten anderen Smartphones unterscheidet. Derzeit funktioniert die Vibration bei eingehenden Anrufen nur, wenn die Option „Bei Anrufen vibrieren“ aktiviert ist – unabhängig davon, ob sich das Telefon im Klingel- oder Vibrationsmodus befindet. Und wenn ich das ausschalte, gibt es überhaupt keine Vibration, selbst im Vibrationsmodus. Bei den meisten Telefonen ist das Verhalten einfacher und flexibler: * **Vibrationsmodus** → nur Vibration (kein Klingelton) * **Klingelton/Normalmodus** → nur Klingelton (keine Vibration, sofern nicht ausdrücklich aktiviert) * **Silent-Modus** → kein Ton, keine Vibration Aber unter dem Betriebssystem Nothing verhält sich der Vibrationsmodus nicht unabhängig – er hängt immer noch von diesem separaten Schalter ab. Dadurch entfällt die erwartete Unterscheidung zwischen den Modi. Persönlich sehe ich keine Notwendigkeit für die Vibration im normalen (Klingel-)Modus, und wenn man es auf diese Weise anschließt, wirkt sich dies auch unnötig auf den Batterieverbrauch aus. Es wäre großartig, wenn Nothing: * Separates Vibrationsverhalten je nach Tonmodus (Klingeln / Vibrieren / Lautlos) * Ermöglichen Sie Benutzern, die Vibration unabhängig für jeden Modus vollständig anzupassen Eine kleine Änderung wie diese würde die Benutzerfreundlichkeit erheblich verbessern und das Erlebnis intuitiver machen. I’ve noticed something about the vibration behavior on Nothing phones (including my Phone 2a Plus) that feels a bit unintuitive and different from most other smartphones.

Right now, vibration for incoming calls only works if the “vibrate for calls” option is enabled — regardless of whether the phone is in ring mode or vibrate mode. And if I turn that off, there’s no vibration at all, even in vibrate mode.

In most phones, the behavior is simpler and more flexible:

Vibrate mode → vibration only (no ringtone)
Ring/normal mode → ringtone only (no vibration unless explicitly enabled)
Silent mode → no sound, no vibration

But on Nothing OS, vibrate mode doesn’t behave independently — it still depends on that separate toggle. This removes the expected distinction between modes.

Personally, I don’t see the need for vibration in normal (ring) mode, and having it tied this way also affects battery usage unnecessarily.

It would be great if Nothing could:

Separate vibration behavior based on sound mode (Ring / Vibrate / Silent)
Allow users to fully customize vibration independently for each mode

A small change like this would improve usability a lot and make the experience more intuitive.
