Hey everyone,
Just wanted to flag a UX issue I’ve been running into on the Playground website on my Nothing 2a that’s honestly making browsing pretty frustrating. Sorry if it was already posted, I looked for it but didn’t found this issue (maybe I scrolled past it).
The problem: When you’re scrolling through the community widgets, click on one to check it out, and then go back after, the page jumps all the way back to the top. Every single time. So if you were deep into browsing, you have to scroll back down to where you were and find your place again. It kills the flow completely.
This is a pretty standard scroll position restoration issue. Happened on both Chrome and Firefox. Most modern web apps handle this automatically, so hopefully it should be a straightforward fix.
Also — is a native Playground app in the works?
Browsing a widget gallery on a mobile browser isn’t the smoothest experience. I know a native app has been mentioned as something planned for later in the beta, but any updates on a timeline for that would be great. It would make a huge difference for discovery and browsing on-device.
Overall really excited about where Playground is heading, just hoping these rough edges get some love soon. Anyone else running into the scroll issue?
