Just got my 4a Pro today (very nice btw) but its having trouble connecting to Visible’s network. I get mobile data that works great but cant make/receive calls/texts (not with SMS or RCS.)
I was in a chat with someone from Visible for awhile and concluded that since the device is so new and being from a smaller brand, they have not added to new IMEI numbers to the whitelist yet. Is there a way to know when this happens? Anyone have any luck with Visible or Verizon on the 4a Pro?
Visible’s eSIM compatibility checker says its not compatible with eSIM when it is and calls it “Unknown Device” which lead me to believe it is too new.
My current solution is to have my SIM card in my old phone and use it for calls/texts and hotspot it to my new 4a pro until it can be fully connected to Visible. Unless it takes too long then I guess I’ll just have to switch carriers :/
