The issue has been right on Nothing’s website all along. Select “Specs” and then “Connectivity “. Only WiFi 6 is listed, which means only 2.4 and 5GHz… which are also listed. No WiFi 6E or WiFi 7 which enables 6GHz. This has to be the reasoning behind the handoff issues, right?
So, unless Nothing goes the route of recertification (which has a cost) and re-files with the FCC to classify this as a 6GHz device… we’re stuck. The phone is capable of it, but it’s up to Nothing if it’s in their best interests to do so. With this being a midrange phone, I don’t have faith that they will.
