I was using samsung s21 FE for 3.5 years. I wanted to switch to a nothing phone and bought nothing phone 3 in Jan 2026.
I am using 2 sims, one is airtel and another one is Jio. In my locality, I get continuous 5g on Jio. For airtel, it is like now and then.
Problem 1: Lets say, I enabled mobile data from Airtel sim. Now I got a call on Jio sim. Then in samsung, the data used to turn on/switch to Jio network and i was able to use the internet while i am speaking on the Jio number. But in nothing phone 3, that is not happening. The data won’t turn on on the Jio. Because of that, lets say i need to check something in the internet or need to download a picture in whatsapp while i am talking, it won’t work. I need to cut the call for it. This is a pathetic issue. This must be addressed.
Problem 2: There is a option in Settings –> Network and internet –> SIMs –> Automatic data switching(Use data from either sim depending on coverage and availability). Lets say I turned this on. I enabled internet from Airtel sim and it is showing 5G. Then ideally I expect that it should continue to use the internet from the airtel because its coverage is good and getting full 5G as well. But after few seconds, the data switches to Jio and it shows 4G network, not 5G If i click on the data switch option from the top drop down, it shows the data option enabled from airtel. I am attaching the images here. This must be addressed.
