I’ve been facing a serious battery drain issue on my Nothing Phone (3a) pro since day one, and it’s now been almost 7 months with no proper resolution from Nothing Support.
Here’s the situation clearly:
Battery drains abnormally fast during normal usage.
When I enable the Log Tool, battery performance suddenly improves.
The moment I stop using it, the battery drain becomes excessive again.
While generating logs, the process often fails midway, so I couldn’t even submit a full report.
This strongly points toward a background/system-level issue, not normal usage behavior.
I have already contacted Nothing Support multiple times:
They asked me to capture logs and share them.
After that, I was told it might require a future software update.
Then the ticket was simply closed without any actual fix.
This is unacceptable because:
The issue has been there since purchase.
It has been 7 months with no resolution.
No repair, no replacement, no clear timeline for a fix.
A phone should not require a debugging tool just to function normally.
What I expect now:
A proper investigation and confirmed root cause.
A definite fix timeline, not vague “future update” responses.
If it’s a hardware issue, then repair or replacement should be provided.

Has anyone else faced similar behavior with battery + Log Tool?
Any real workaround that doesn’t involve running logs continuously?
This issue is seriously affecting my daily usage and overall experience, and I hope the Nothing team takes this seriously now.
