After installing the latest update from Nothing, my phone stopped connecting to 5G networks. Before the update, 5G worked perfectly everywhere I went, but now I’m mostly stuck on slower networks. This has created problems in daily use, including slower downloads, buffering during streaming, poor video call quality, and delayed app loading. It has also affected gaming, causing higher ping, lag, unstable connections, and a worse overall online gaming experience.

May is also gone , one month is more than enough for already old features , dont forget 4a was in march

march , april , may , 3 months for these features is more than enough for beta testing , even samsung give us a timeline for updates although they have a long list of products to provide selective updated for nothing inc , there are only a handful of products of which 3 series, 3 - 3a and 3a pro and 4 series should be in beta because 3a series was sold a lot and is popular because of its camera improvements from phone 2 series

2a and 2a plus have a lot of share but since 3 series is - more recent and new even though you already discountinued 3a pro series which is kind of stupid since that’s now how things should be at all

But do give us a timeline from next time guys like even a general month time early late mid etc. I know the team is fairly small but still the features are not as heavy as they are in other android skins

the hide unused notifications glitch and big of hiding the used notifications instead of unused notifications

eg messages is on for insta but as soon as i go back from msg categories sub settings to one window back it hides the messages category and i have to scroll down to show it and change any settings for msg category which is such a pain in the ahh

As pinoly mentioned i don’t work for nothing in any capacity so i have as much info as a user but it’s just patterns and how updates are given…

Since, the update i have been facing lags specially in the notification menu, slow response at sometimes also.

Ich frage mich wann das 3a die erweiterten Funktionen für die Gallery App bekommt. Beim 4a kann man Passanten löschen lassen oder Spiegelungen entfernen. Das 3a bietet diese Funktion in der Gallery App nicht. Warum kommen diese Sachen nur auf die 4er Reihe. Ich habe zwar das 4a aber nutze zur Zeit eher das 3a da ich persönlich finde das es flüssiger und stabiler läuft als das 4a.

Aber genau diese Funktionen fehlen mir auf dem 3a und das finde ich nicht gut warum Nothing da solche Unterschiede macht. Das heißt man muss jetzt immer das neue Handy kaufen um alle Funktionen zu bekommen?

MarkusM actually not Nothing has said that they will bring the features in the upcoming updates.Like see as per Nothing policy will get all the features on 25th or 26th not sure but 2 months policy so they might do that

After updating to OS 4.1, my phone started changing apps once it a while using other apps. Is there a fix for that or can I rollback to version 4

Hey guys! If any of you are working with Nothing or have encountered a similar issue, I’m still having issues with battery drain and overheating, especially on hot summer days.
I barely used my 3a and somehow it drained to 72% with 1:38 on wifi and also when i calculated there is no 1.5h of SOT and i do not know where it got (78 mins as i see and i did not count launcher)

Second question

What are there system apps and why they drain so much , how can i stop it ?

Third question why we have disable background tool in setting if it is not working at all and as you can see all the apps somehow work on the backgroung , especialy instagram(background enabled in Yandex Music but i used it for 15 minutes so i do not know what was doing this app on background for 1h)

Last question

It seems like when 5g is working(5g works only sometimes after last update) it heats abnormally so i can not keep it in my pocket.
After all jumps through hoops(settings , background limiting , factory reset , support who send me same messages everytime) i still got 6-7h sot with 95% battery health with heating , draining , lagging , low charging speed after last update. Do you still think this is fair?

I gave detailed info about problems and information so that there are no comments about me being a hater.
I hope Nothing still care about community and they will finally fix the issue
Otherwise, it’s time to buy a OnePlus with a stable OS and 15 hours of screen life.

Dear Team,

I am using a Nothing Phone 3a Pro and am experiencing issues with NFC payment applications such as Mada Pay and Google Wallet. These apps are not working properly on my device.

I am using the same applications on my Nothing Phone 2a, and they work without any issues. I have already checked the settings and enabled NFC, but the problem persists.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or found a solution? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How to update this OS

I’m using a Nothing Phone 3a running Nothing OS 4.1 and trying to use the built-in Clone Apps feature with eFootball 2026 (v10.5.1).

Issue

The cloned version of eFootball downloads the game data normally and reaches 100%, but then shows the error:

“Download Failed. Make sure you have sufficient storage space on your device and a stable network connection before reattempting the download.”

What I’ve Checked

Around 59 GB free storage available.

Stable 5G connection.

Original eFootball app works perfectly on the same device.

Cleared cache and storage of the cloned app.

Removed and recreated the clone.

The issue occurs consistently.

Additional Observation

The original app shows around 3.39 GB user data, while the cloned app never successfully stores or finalizes the downloaded resources. The clone fails immediately after the download reaches 100%.

Device Information

Device: Nothing Phone 3a

OS: Nothing OS 4.1

App: eFootball 2026 (v10.5.1)

Clone Method: Official Nothing “Clone Apps” feature

Can the Nothing team confirm whether eFootball is fully supported by Clone Apps on Nothing OS 4.1? Has anyone else experienced the same issue with eFootball or other games that require large data downloads?
