Dear Nothing Community,
I am using a Nothing Phone (2) and facing a critical network compatibility bug specifically when using a BSNL 5G Ready SIM.
Whenever I insert a BSNL 5G Ready SIM into either Slot 1 or Slot 2, the phone completely fails to detect the BSNL SIM. Furthermore, it breaks the entire dual-SIM functionality, causing my secondary SIM (whether Jio or Airtel) in the other slot to completely lose its internet and cellular network.
Crucially, as soon as I remove the BSNL SIM from the tray, the other SIM (Jio/Airtel) instantly starts working perfectly in either slot and connects to the 5G network seamlessly.
I have tested these same BSNL 5G Ready SIMs on a Nothing Phone (1) and a Samsung device, and they work flawlessly there without causing any network drops. This clearly points to a specific modem configuration, MBN profile, or carrier compatibility glitch in the Nothing Phone (2)'s software.
Kindly look into this issue as a priority and provide a software update or bug fix so that BSNL SIMs can be used alongside other active networks on the Nothing Phone (2).
Thank you.
