Hello Nothing Community,

This is my concept for the future of Nothing smartphones: “Nothing Phone AURA”.

The idea combines a transparent design, a 360° Aura Glyph Ring, and a customizable Glyph Matrix display to create a more interactive and personal user experience.

My goal was to keep the minimalist Nothing identity while introducing something fresh and unique.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback on this concept.

Ankit Mistry okay i know nothing about design and anything but here is my oppnion as i think it’s too cheap for the features and everything but ik it’s Jst a consept yet the 360° aura light should not be colourfull as nothing is minimalistic and thier design language is to be as far away from colour full colours as possible but deep down idc about that it is cool and if someone wana keeep it white they can but when u customise ur nothing phone i always face a problem of it looking too like nothing if i chose a colour like blue I don’t want black acencts as i Bought a phone for my self and i love the nothing vibe but i wana customise it too acording to me and yeah the glyph matrix is good it can be useful but i would prefer if u could jst add it in a way that it doesn’t look like u jst added a screen on the back it doesn’t feel ot was ment to be there on the transparent back but idk nothing about design and i want all those feature in a nothing Phone+ a more featured software too more colour customisation. Btw love it your efforts are remarkable and i would have buyed it if it ever existed but having the lights and screen both will make it more distracting than having jst one rather have two versions of this like with 4 a having the glyph bar and 4 a pro having the matrix display but i love the specs i wish it was real and kindly take it as a feed back or jst my personal oppnion

Ankit Mistry 😮. Oh my god it’s beautiful. The fact that the glyph lights change colour is just 🤌🏻 chef’s kiss. Keep cooking things like this and you’ll get onboarded to nothing’s design team.

Ankit Mistry Why does this feel like AI slop? You designed this to be a Nothing mid-range device, but the specs and pricing are a total hallucination. It’s been two years since Nothing placed their base variant anywhere near ₹23k (the 2a was launched at ₹24k). The 3a series started at ₹25k, the new 4a actually launched at ₹32k, and the Phone 4a Pro launched at ₹40k.. which is the one that actually got the Glyph Matrix display. Expecting a device to launch at ₹22,999 in the current market with these specs is just living in a delulu.

You included 100W wired charging and 20W wireless charging on a budget tier, yet there isn’t a single copper wireless charging coil visible on the transparent back. On top of that, that dot matrix display is somehow even bigger than the premium Phone 3, and you threw in an IP68 certification. The real mid-range 4a only has an IP64 rating because full IP68 certifications cost a premium to test and manufacture.

No manufacturer is going to offer this much flagship tech just to sell it at ₹23k. If you used an AI tool to generate this, you should at least openly mention it. Only an AI relying on outdated data would hallucinate that these flagship features can fit into a modern mid-range budget.

Looks cool except personally i think you should stick to normal white lights. I don’t think they will provide 7000mAh battery capacity with 100W charging and i think it should have triple camera like they are common these days.Though the concept looks fire 🔥🔥

Looks like another phone company trying to be nothing instead of an actual nothing concept 🤔

Like all I see here is aesthetic value, which is not the ONLY thing nothing does, you also have to see that they’re trying to make phones less distracting.

This on the other hand looks like I’ll keep looking at the back display.

@Amudhan_Sundararajan Fair point. This was never meant to be a realistic leak or an official Nothing product roadmap—just a fan-made concept based on what I’d personally like to see.

You’re right that the pricing and some features don’t align with current market realities. If this were an actual commercial device, the combination of a large Glyph Matrix display, wireless charging, IP68 certification, and 100W charging would almost certainly push it into a much higher price bracket.

The goal was creative design rather than engineering accuracy. Thanks for pointing out the inconsistencies—those are valid observations, and a more realistic concept would definitely need different specs and pricing.
