15 days in with the Nothing Phone (4a) and here is my official 15-day verdict. Before jumping in, a huge thanks to @Deepanshu_Saini_ for selecting me for the Nothing Community Review Program. The absolute best part about this…Zero strings attached. They literally told me to post my 100% honest thoughts, good or bad. No forced hype or endorsements, and I massively respect that.
First off, that pink design is genuinely stunning in person. It’s bold, unique, and completely stands out from the usual sea of boring black and silver devices. It’s easily the first thing everyone asks about when I pull it out.
Performance has been absolute butter. Apps snap open instantly, scrolling is smooth, and I’ve noticed zero jank. The UI just gets out of your way and lets you use the phone, which is exactly how software should be. The display looks incredibly crisp, gaming handles pretty much everything effortlessly, and the speakers hit surprisingly solid. Even the haptics feel super tight and intentional.
Battery life is honestly a relief. It easily pushes through a full day without any of that evening panic charging.
Real talk on the cameras: they’re solid overall, but there is a slight color shift between the main and telephoto lenses, where the telephoto oversaturates things a bit. Once you know that, you can still pull some really great everyday shots out of it. It’s not trying to be a flagship camera phone, but it’s honest and capable.
The real wild card has been the Glyphs. They are genuinely useful—I tracked both a Zomato order and an Uber pickup just by glancing at the back of the phone. Zero screen touchdowns needed, which honestly feels like the future.
That’s where things stand at the 15-day mark. Let me know if you have any specific questions or things you want me to test out…
