I have a Nothing Phone (3) and it is running the latest update (Nothing OS 4.1, June update).
After installing this update, I started experiencing a very serious charging issue. The charging speed has become extremely slow—to the point where it would take nearly 10 hours to fully charge the phone. What’s even more concerning is that the phone gets unusually hot despite charging at such a low power.
Yesterday, for the first time since I’ve owned the phone (about 3 months), the battery temperature reached 48°C. At the same time, the phone was barely charging at all.
I have already tried different chargers, different cables, and charging in different ambient temperatures, but nothing has changed. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced a problem like this with a smartphone.
Please investigate this issue as soon as possible. If this is a software bug introduced by the latest update, I would really appreciate a hotfix or any other solution you can provide.
