UpawNothing GuanYikChee_LXNp4Cm2IJ I thought that too. Higher ram prices are having a significant effect on Tech companies making some products unaffordable for most people. Glad I bought my laptop last year, prices for the latest Snapdragon devices are now more than double what I paid.
JimmyMichel I am convinced that this announcement is related to what is indicated in H2 2026 on the essential.com roadmap. “Pairing software experiences with new use case specific shaped devices.” That’s certainly what we can read on the website. This would explain the teasers with element (b) instead of the usual (a). Given that Akis specified on twitter that there would be no new CMF smartphones for the time being, this is plausible.
MarkG13 So, given that it would seem unlikely from these announcements that there won’t be any new CMF phones at this time and Nothing Phone 4 won’t be till 2027, what do we think that this “ b” could mean with the possibility of 2 new products hopefully being announced soon?

Xperiance Ashu nah more like the community edition but I doubt it, it’s still too early for that and my bad Nothing released a post that they won’t be releasing a CMF Phone this year because of the memory prices.
