Introducing Club Nothing (R)
Today, we’re excited to announce an all-new community experience with Club Nothing (R).
Community and music have always been at the heart of what we do at Nothing, and now we’re bringing them together in a whole new way. Club Nothing (R) is our global events series and a $40,000 fund supporting organisers, artists and collectives creating new music experiences.
Since Ear (1), music has been a massive part of who we are. From longstanding investors like Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd to our latest shareholder and Global Brand Ambassador Charli xcx, we’re really keen on deepening our relationship with the industry. Club Nothing (R) is our newest way to invest back in the communities that made us who we are.
The Club Nothing (R) fund will award four individuals or collectives $10,000 each so they can throw a club event, series or festival later this year. We want to support the disruptors bringing new sounds and experiences to their communities through nightlife – anywhere in the world.
Applications open today and close on 9 August. Winners will be announced in late August.

🔴 Manuka Honey, DJ and Producer
Manuka Honey circles electronic music’s most compelling fringes.
A DJ, producer, multi-disciplinary artist and professional astrologer, Marissa Malik was born and raised in the US before she came to London. She was named a Resident Advisor Breakthrough Artist in 2022, and she’s held radio residencies on BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM. She’s also played at major international festivals like Unsound in Krakow and Le Guess Who in Utrecht.
🔴 Erica Travis, Global Community Manager at Nothing and Music Festival Founder
Erica is Nothing’s Global Senior Community Manager. Outside Nothing, she co-founded Madruga Festival in 2023, an annual electronic-festival-meets-mansion-party. Before Nothing, she worked on Dazed Club as Marketing & Community Events Manager at Dazed. Familiar with the struggles promoters face, she’s keen to give an opportunity to the collectives redefining music spaces.
🔴 Shavone Charles, multi-hyphenate artist and Global Head of Communications at Nothing
Shavone is a creative, author, advocate and force in music, fashion and tech. She’s known across industries as a renaissance woman who continues to disrupt the norms as a classically-trained musician, FORD model and change-maker. She’s been named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Marketing & Advertising list, EBONY POWER 100 and VIBE Magazine’s Voice of the Year.
🔴 Solomon Pace-McCarrick, Music Editor at Dazed
Solomon is a writer and radio host based in London, specialising in underground music and global hip-hop scenes. He’s previously worked as a producer for the community radio station Platform B and as an events promoter in Brighton.
🔴 James Supreme, A&R and Music Publishing Agency Founder
James Supreme is a music executive, entrepreneur, and talent strategist whose career spans artist management, producer management, music publishing, recorded music, touring, intellectual property rights administration and executive leadership.
Known for identifying talent before broad market recognition and helping creators transform their potential into sustainable careers, he’s has contributed to creator ecosystems responsible for more than 60 million RIAA-certified units, 16 Billboard #1 records across multiple categories, multiple Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 #1 projects and Grammy-recognized works.
🔴 Layla Mustafa Rock, Music Industry Professional
Layla is an industry professional whose career spans music marketing and partnership management. She was on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2023, and is excited to be a judge to discover and support new talent.
