Nothing Ecosystem

Hear me out guys, I’ve owned pixel, iphone and nothing ecosystems. My discussion is when you use a pixel phone you have all these google already installed app and if you used all of them you actually have a really good experience as with apple too, it has it’s own personal apps and experience that works really well with the ecosystem. I might sound crazy, but with nothing ecosystem I believe it’s the best looking devices hands down out of all other ones in the market, but when it comes to using or trying to get the best out of it, I’m using all the google apps as for messages, we have nothing photos and google photos for some reason. We only have essential space and nothing x app, but other than that you can go with any android device and it wouldn’t be a difference at all, because essential space as I known it’s not used a lot. It’s like I’m missing more nothing original apps that help you break out of google system, so I can main this phone. Morning guys from LA ✌

BernardoMontoya There are actually a lot of fan made apps with the nothing style. If apps that feel more like nothing are that important to you, you could try them out. There are apps such as N dialer, Noting, N calc, N clock, N files, dot player and so much more. If you need to find even more, just search the community for fan made apps.

That’s the point of Android. It’s no different than if you switch from one Windows PC to another Windows PC, it’s all the same, no difference in functionality.

BernardoMontoya because essential space as I known it’s not used a lot.

Because it’s limited to strictly your Nothing phone, so why bother. People use more devices than just a phone. And if you lose your Nothing phone, or if it breaks/gets stolen, you lose all that data because of locking yourself into a super-niche small ecosystem. Even if you have it backed up you can’t use it without having another Nothing phone.

Yeah I mean I get it, I use a lot of apps that fans make because the nothing OS for me personally is the best and the glyph matrix but I guess what I’m trying to say is and I know it’s a new small company, is that if I’m buying your phone I hope I get the full experience right ? Like buying a brand new BMW, and all I get is the motor and the rest of the car I have to get it from a off brand supplier, when you actually wanted everything provided by the original supplier. Like I use the essential space but that is literally the only app original from nothing and the OS.
