Es war großartig, auf meine früheren Arbeiten zurückzublicken und die Entwicklung zu sehen. Ich habe hart daran gearbeitet, meinen gesamten Konzeptentwurfsprozess zu verbessern und nicht nur die Qualität des Endergebnisses, sondern auch die Art und Weise, wie ich dorthin komme. Ein Teil davon besteht darin, sich mehr Zeit zu nehmen, um bestehende Designs nach Inspiration zu durchsuchen. Ich wollte mein ursprüngliches Laptop-Design schon seit einiger Zeit überdenken/neu erfinden, aber ich tauche nur dann in ein Konzept ein, wenn ich von der Idee, die ich habe, begeistert bin. Wenn nicht, dann werde ich es einfach nicht tun! Für diejenigen unter Ihnen, die mit Teenage Engineering nicht vertraut sind: Sie stellen einige unglaubliche Audioprodukte her und ihre Designsprache ist sehr industriell. Ich beschloss, dies als Grundlage für mein Nothing Laptop (2)-Design zu verwenden. Dann ging es um transparente Elemente. Es ist sehr einfach, etwas transparent zu machen und es „inspiriert von Nothing“ zu nennen, aber Transparenz sollte dennoch eine Bedeutung haben und geschmackvoll sein. Ich habe mich für eine mattierte Oberfläche der Handballenauflage entschieden, die sich gut in das restliche Design einfügt – mit dieser Oberfläche experimentiere ich schon seit einiger Zeit. Es gibt eine Reihe von Möglichkeiten. * Benachrichtigungsbanner mit niedriger Auflösung – dies kann verwendet werden, um Ereignisse, Nachrichten, Wetter und vieles mehr anzuzeigen. Das ist es also: Nothing Laptop (2) in seiner ganzen Pracht! Derren if they were to make it i wouldnt be far fetched for teenage engineering to jump in on the project cuz they already helped nothing on the nothing aparell

Love it ! It would be cool if the keypad were backlit, so it showed just the Nothing keys with the lid open and powered on (on a timer if no keys are pressed for a while), but all the others lit up when any one was pressed. They could also act like a breathing light and pulsate to show the laptop is on.

I really hope they make something like this and a laptop in general. it could have so much potential. also woth the 2 way paring with the nothing ear (2). i dont know if the other ears have that aswell. but if nothing makes an laptop, im buying it 100%

Hey guys, I have some ideas for the operating system and the Gliph. Why not integrate it into the keyboard, this would bring two nice things that 1. In the dark you can see the keys better, similar to the keyboards on a ThinkPad. The second thing, animations when you plug STH into a USB port, like a mouse or a USB stick. My idea for the operating system is a Linux, maybe based on KDE -Plasma, it works fast with widgets, it’s Linux. It would be just a small thing, the software compatibility.

Amazing, I would like this if it were 2 in 1 PC. I hope to see this with a touch OLED screen, pen support, and Windows 11 Pro. In the upcoming years (hopefully 2025 or 2026). The orange colour and frosted finish are amazing. It is wonderful by design.

I like the second version more, but there are two things. First, it’s too flat from the bottom and there aren’t any airways. The second, I’d prefer more square angles, cause it looks like a custom macbook.

P.s. Now I use Asus zenbook 14 and it’s pretty good.

Derren It looks just awesome! To my opinion, it is time to replace the fingerprint scanner & camera with the phone (unlock the laptop using the phone and use the phone’s camera). Also, detachable version would be nice (separate screen and keyboard).

Love the design and truly appreciate the efforts put on this, would love it as a product!

But,

Believe it or not…This Design, as well as the previous one, is more than just “INSPIRED” from the MacBooks. The Speaker grills, the bar above the keyboard (MacBook M1 pro touch bar), even the battery allignment (visible in one of the pictures through the transparent bottom) is 1:1 same as the Mac Book Air…These are just a few to name and the list goes on…

Looks like this is an edit on top of an existing MacBook design in blender…

Dude, imagine if Nothing made a PC! A laptop, or even an all-in-one like an iMac / Mac Mini. That would be a total game-changer for their ecosystem. Seamless workflow, killer design, their own OS… Nothing X app on desktop. How sick would that be?!
