No idea about the ram, I dont use the booster. But this battery thing was a wild ride, I went froma borderline unusable phone to two days. Problem is we can’t be sure if this is really just up to the providers, or what the phones are actually doing while draining the battery (and why it wasn’t captured in the debug logs). So for people in Serbia - no A1 with 4G calling.

ObradKostadinovic im so mad i didnt found out about this a month earlier before i signed a new contract with A1 but when i got this phone like 5 month ago it worked flawlessly for like 2 months then it was draining like crazy for 2 weeks then again fine for a month and then it was only draining again since. So i dont get it how it worked sometimes do they just flip a switch on and off when they are bored at A1 ?

Just check your settings and turn it off…everyone’s ram booster is turned on

Gardna I don’t get why they are so crappy now, used to be a good company. It’s like they’re going out of their way to make our experience bad. And it is a shame, you could try to break the contract since they aren’t fulfilling their part but it’s a slim chance

Hi Rob!

I am one of your huge fan of products, I first bought your cmf buds and got in love with it at how affordable rate the sound quality was good with such features. So I bought nothing phone 2a recently by seeing reviews that the battery of the phone is good and it lasts upto 8 to 9 hours sot. But, my phone didn’t even lasted for 5 hours sot, I have also taken it to service centre they have also replaced the battery, but now also there is not a significant improvements in the battery drainage

RanjuSingh That could be the problem, I never had VoLTE show up in the settings, only “4G calling”. And that’s the thing killing the battery for me

RanjuSingh from what I’ve seen, JIO network is fully supporting Nothing 2a so the drain is not from the network settings or operator. Try to debug farther, maybe you have a crashed app or a virus. Last thing you can do, is factory reset, but try to use feedback from settings and talk to Nothing team before factory reset.

No i don’t have any crashed app or virus… i have also taken the mobile for repairing at service centre, they even has replaced the battery but no improvement in battery life is observed by me. I have also given logs to customer support but no update or anything was given

I also saw the battery usage in settings it seems to be normal…should I try factory reset, is there anything other than it which could be done?

RanjuSingh from what i have observed its a mobile carrier problem, change the sim card to another one and it will stop draining but if you have 4g calling you can fix the drainage by turning that option off.

Gardna I have searched that jio sim is fully supported by nothing phones, and as I got a reply from the previous person. Maybe it is a big in the software of nothing which is making battery drain. I will try to change sim slot also

Edit: I have tried to use my bsnl sim also whichis supporting 3g but then also only 38% is left in 14 hours of charge and approx 3 and half hours screen on time. Here is the screenshot:
