MadOne have you enabled NFC before checking the cards? I think it should work if NFC is enabled (have not tried it, but may work)

You cannot access the wallet if your phone is locked. It’s a safety feature.

I am currently using my nothing phone 2(a) in India and even though the wallet app has been released by Google officially the wallet widget in control panel is disabled. Any update on when this will be fixed?

Just in case someone still has this problem:

In the Settings there is an option for the standard-wallet-app. Just search for “wallet” in the settings menu.

I had the same issue because for some reason my setting was changed from “google wallet” to “paypal”. I switched it back and the quicksettings button worked again instantly.

MaR_ i looked it up but it has no option for google wallet. Only 1 option for Google Pay. They’re 2 different apps here in India.

The app itself have disabled this in india. The Google wallet cannot do nfc payments, for that you have to use gpay here. This is the same in every Android.
