RohithTony After new update in my nothing 2a, battery drain very fast, today I changed my mobile 80% and used just 30minutes,and never touched 10hours also aeroplane mode is enabled, when I looked my mobile it’s dropped 59% of battery percentage 😭
Stringfellow_hawke RohithTony That could be normal immediately after an update, lot of things going on in the background. Charge it overnight once to let the background optimisations take place and observe it after that.
SRM_008 Update seems to deteriorate the experience. I still believe phone was very good on the first day but updates are ruining the experience. Noticed following issues:- 1. Youtube playback on 4k is lagging now. 2. Camera still needs to be optimized. 3. Felt battery draining issue but i think it will take 2-3 days to get optimized. 4. Charging speed also got a hit, Was able to charge phone in less then a hour but it’s taking more time now.
ThejusPradeep SRM_008 Even I am facing the same problem 4k video on YouTube lags and even the camera quality is decreased LeadGenerating 4k video lags on YouTube
Skbuddy Update made the performance slower than before… YouTube 4k videos are now lagging . Most of the times background app are restarting just after few seconds only. Ear piece speaker has got some distortion while playing some music at high volume..which was not there before.
[gelöscht] Rover My lord, such whining trolls here. Give them a break, rather than providing constructive feedback for a fix why such entitlement. Well, although I do not support the tone of some comments, if you wouldn´t get what you payed for, I bet you´d weening as well, innit? t
Rover [gelöscht] mate its just a software patch, things will be better in future updates. Not that Nothing gave you a different hardware as to what they advertised.
TNPL Have You tried to do a soft reset or a factory reset after the update? Sometimes it may help with Your device issues.
hexagonal707x Schippie Man I’ve made an entire post regarding this and some people just don’t get the whole clean stock experience without duplicate apps filling up the app drawer. https://nothing.community/d/4803
[gelöscht] JatinGupta_oJQFeWWdqa …it is not about 24000, it is about what you are getting at that price. I would never expect iPhone performance at this but… A valid point. Some people seem to expect more than they payed for. On the other hand, I fully understand the displeasure from many, not even receiving a consistent package.
ShaikRehan TheSensibleOne I want to say that why there are no Nothing own dialer, contacts, gallery ,messages etc… ??? By the way I am Samsung user and inspired by their own apps and features
Schippie ShaikRehan That’s a valid opinion. I, on the other hand, quit using Samsung because I hated the app duplication, and because the Google versions were simply better. Interesting how tastes differ, right?
GopalJhawar Please give us an option to reduce the always on display’s duration it’s not an ltpo display and the battery drain is already a big problem and also an option to remove nav bar🙏🙏
ghumnewala RoshinAbraham click nothing os version option (where 2.5.4.a is written) then force it to check for update sierokas24
Anonymous1017 Stringfellow_hawke overnight charging?? Is it okay to keep the phone on charge for 8 or 9 hours continuously with 45W charger? Any effects in battery hardware, SOC and battery lifespan? I’ve read multiple things but not received any firm or 95% accurate information about it. Also, if we charge a cell 100% every time, wont it deplet battery backup and life faster?
Stringfellow_hawke Anonymous1017 The overnight charging only has to be done once though, after an update. You don’t have too charge it to 100% all the time if you don’t want too. You can also leave it, without using it, on the charger for 2 to 3 hours longer after it charged to 100% if you don’t feel comfortable doing an overnight charge. But I prefer overnight, to be sure that all those background processes are done.
