Update - The camera issue has been resolved after I installed the latest update (1st September 2024) So the 2a Plus has a really good camera. For most scenarios it outputs really good looking pictures but when it comes to clicking pictures of people in artificial lighting (in sunlight, it puts out really good photos), after processing, the faces of people look very weird as if their faces are extremely oily/sweaty. And also for beard/hair instead of having some details, it kinda makes it look a big bunch of black spot on the face. Only happens under artificial light. Before clicking the photo, the preview in the viewfinder looks good but after it is done processing, the photos look very weird. I'm hoping Nothing could fix it with a software update and this isn't an issue with my specific unit. Other than this issue, the cameras are great. I'm on the latest update btw

Before 2 months, I have procured CMF phone for my brother. it has good camera quality in budget. I procured Nothing Phone 2a plus before a week without taking much review. looking at picture quality, Phone 2a plus is not even up to quality of CMF. very worst quality of camera. another issue is camera is lagging while capturing image.

Very very frustrated with the camera.🤬 🤬

I am using Nothing 2A Plus from last 2 months, and I have updated to Nothing 3.0 Beta version.

But i m facing major problems regarding camera.

While opening camera applications it will take nearly 10 Sec to opening, after opened its got laging issues…

While shooting in daylight potrait photo got white shade coming, I have to edit in every potrait photo.

I haven’t expect this kind of camera problem in this phone…

Need suggestions 😔 😭

Hi! Recently I bought the nothing phone (2a) plus, and I have to say that I love it! But I’d just want to point out that the selfie camera shots look a bit overprocessed. Personally when I take pictures from the camera app it just looks like there’s a filter on my face, a beauty mode that I didn’t ask for. I know that processing shots is essential to get good quality and sharpness, but at least for me they tend to look a bit unrealistic and just too much enhance in terms of texture of the skin, sharpness of lines like lashes and brows and so on. I’d just like them to be more natural, I prefer a “messy” kind of look, that although it can show imperfections or flaws, is more appealing to me.

Apart from that I love this phone and it takes really good videos!

MrBloodyHyphen- Same goes for Nothing phone 2a user after update rear camera performs very worst. Hope @Firmware (bot) will have to fix immediately

Same issue is there with me, I have a nothing 2a plus it has over exposure and makes every image flat, in video it is over exposed and has ver little light control when I darken the video by pulling exposure control down, the parts on the edges of the video get greyed out a little, compared to a basic model which has a very nice camera 2a, the 2a plus instead of being a better and premium camera phone has the worst camera algorithm.

I am very disappointed with camera sometimes it’s spoil the face in photo and now in video as i was zooming in it while shooting it was perfectly fine and after i stopped and check for video it make it trash it just cropped and zoom the video which is absolutely bad this is the second time nothing that i am facing camera problem we buy phone to enjoy and use camera of phone to capture moments and this phone is always failing to capture the moment and spoiling the moment please fix asap please it’s an request

I am nothing phone 2a community edition, since i bought it the camera performance is very worst, wherever I take phone both in rear and front, photo looks very over exposure and it’s having focus issue, photo’s are looking like 10k budget phone, please solve this issue with a proper update.

I’ve been using nothing 2a plus for 4 months now , after the recent update camera lags soo much while clicking the photos the camera freezes, nothing developers fix this issue asap

Camera lags a lot. Try updating the apk from apkmirror. It has 15. something something version and it works better.
