After updating os to 2.0.3 I'm facing battery drain issue. 50% battery drained in less than 15 minutes and stopped at 1% from 1hr. Anyone facing the same issue?

Rob ⚡️ it was not before after the 2.6 update it is happening, heating problem and extreme battery drain . before the ideal drain was 6 % after 2.5.5 update it extended to 8-9 % but after 2.6 update the battery drain has extended to 15-16 %.

I thought ideal drain happens at night but no at day time also it happens i.e in 24 hour almost 29 -30% battery get drained,for every 1hour there is a drain of 1.5 % .my screen on time is 2.5 hour from 100 to 10 % battery,in which I play games and browse social media for which the battery get drained upto 45 to 50% i know it is lot but it happens and from 50% battery till next morning get drained and charging remains 10 to 15 % .I have a old Vivo mobile of li-ion battery if don’t use it the battery remains the same even after 3 to 5 days with a negligible 2% of drain for 12 hour i.e 4 % drain for 24 hour if Vivo can do this why not nothing

Nothing Phone 2, from the last couple of days my phone battery is charging very slowly (taking 2-3 hrs to charge 40%), and without usage battery draining so fastly (10-15% drainage within 2-3 mins). What is the problem?

My 40k+ NP2’s battery is getting unnecessary wear n tear by NOS2.6 and this company is silent about. Any mobile device be it smartphone or laptop, the first priority is always battery, and they are still not addressing the issue. Performed a hard reset but no respite. I faced a widevine issue in OP7PRO and vowed never to purchase an OnePlus device. This time also its feeling like Deja Vu. Request you Nothing to please fix the battery drain.

Edit:- To all guys waiting for a fix. In the meantime, if you have dual SIM, disable any one and then see the discharge. Discharge rate is drastically reduced by disabling one SIM or by using single SIM only. Just try it. I have gone through all the images shared in this thread and those who don’t have problem with battery are all having only one SIM on their phone. NOS2.6 is having dual SIM problem. I shall share the stats tomorrow if the SOT improves. This is not a fix, but bypassing the problem.

Nowadays I am facing a high battery drain in Nothing Phone 2. For 2 hrs I am losing more than 25% of battery when I am using and this is the first time I am experiencing these issues in the phone after 6 months of Purchase.

Please reply to the post If someone is facing the same issue as mine.

It also happens to me, when i use chatgpt and cred app.

If i just go back/exit from the app, the phone after some times starts throttling, heating, and battery starts draining.

Everytime i use chatgpt or cred app, i force close it after using.

Then this thing doesn’t happen

I am using Nothing Phone 2, I am facing an issue regarding Cred. When I am using cred and close it. but it running background and drain my battery very fastly. every time i force stop even i opened cred. If any solution for that

It also happens to me when I use cred, reaches to 40 degrees. Immediately turn on aeroplane mode takes some time and cools.

Hi guys does the battery drain on nothing 2 of version 2.6 be solved after factory reset. I am using only 1 sim slot. Does reset helps or need to wait for next update

While checking my usage cred app is not using that much battery. What about you?

IGNITE_EXD21uKhPI then see which app causing heat and drain just uninstall and install back. In my case cred and gpt is causing, so I uninstalled and installed them back. Now it’s back to normal.
