I have been continuously using the device, but still screen usage time is decreasing

Most of you are complaining about battery draining, but all of you have on first place Instagram as a most power draining app. Guys, do you know, that IG/FB/Threads/YT (only as active)/Snapchat/Tik Tok are the insanely power hungers with no correct code optimisations and are draining quite fast battery even in the standby mode? No? So, now you know it, and also you know where the issue lays - in your hands. We all have same phones with exact same system (of course, some of you are living in hot enviroment with a high humidity, so results in these climates are slightly worse). So, if your phone have no major physical damage, you are the one who is responsible for bad behavior of your device if no one other face that issue… My typical battery cycle is +- 9h of SOT and battery last for 42h - to 48h with +- 15% of battery still left for use (night drain ~0,3%, active display ~5,5-6%/h, dark mode with apps in dark mode, no gaming, for gaming there are waaaay better devices in my home).

From last 7 days I noticed extream battery drain in nothing phone 2 .

I charge my phone around 10 am to 11.30 am morning weather the battery is dead or not ,because I don’t use my phone more then 2.5 hours for hole day.

As normally from 7 days I charge my phone at under 10 to 11 am upto 90% (i don’t charge my phone full for the battery durability)and leave it as it is till 2 to 2.30 pm because I have works like studies and after that i play free fire max for 1 hour for which there is a drain of 25% i.e my battery reams 65 % and I use my phone for normally massaging,for call and for browsing chrome (especially nothing community) and social media like instagram,all this for 40 min for which there will be a drain of 20 % i.e the battery remains 45% .in total I use my phone for 2 hours a day and from 4 pm till night 11 pm i don’t use my phone but when I see the charging of my phone it is like 22,24and 25% .

Only 2 hours of use and this much of drain .the hyp which nothing created for there excellent battery backup is all false.i bought this phone 4 month ago and already the battery is worst.

Nothing should see into this problem and fix it

Rob it was not before after the 2.6 update it is happening, heating problem and extreme battery drain . before the ideal drain was 6 % after 2.5.5 update it extended to 8-9 % but after 2.6 update the battery drain has extended to 15-16 %.

I thought ideal drain happens at night but no at day time also it happens i.e in 24 hour almost 29 -30% battery get drained,for every 1hour there is a drain of 1.5 % .my screen on time is 2.5 hour from 100 to 10 % battery,in which I play games and browse social media for which the battery get drained upto 45 to 50% i know it is lot but it happens and from 50% battery till next morning get drained and charging remains 10 to 15 % .I have a old Vivo mobile of li-ion battery if don’t use it the battery remains the same even after 3 to 5 days with a negligible 2% of drain for 12 hour i.e 4 % drain for 24 hour if Vivo can do this why not nothing

My 40k+ NP2’s battery is getting unnecessary wear n tear by NOS2.6 and this company is silent about. Any mobile device be it smartphone or laptop, the first priority is always battery, and they are still not addressing the issue. Performed a hard reset but no respite. I faced a widevine issue in OP7PRO and vowed never to purchase an OnePlus device. This time also its feeling like Deja Vu. Request you Nothing to please fix the battery drain.

Edit:- To all guys waiting for a fix. In the meantime, if you have dual SIM, disable any one and then see the discharge. Discharge rate is drastically reduced by disabling one SIM or by using single SIM only. Just try it. I have gone through all the images shared in this thread and those who don’t have problem with battery are all having only one SIM on their phone. NOS2.6 is having dual SIM problem. I shall share the stats tomorrow if the SOT improves. This is not a fix, but bypassing the problem.
