kappusharma_j2T3PheaxS Well my phone 2 battery drain is abnormally high since last couple of nights. Point to be noted is that I never had this issue before. I moved out side India and have entered Nepal. Since the night I entered Nepal and my SIM is on roaming. It began to remain hot on idle and battery got drained. Same story 2nd night also. Don’t know if it is roaming/network (no network) issue or whatever. Other than that device seems to function normally.

      When I play CODM (on the lowest graphical setting), I notice that the device’s temperature increases to a quite uncomfortable level. This is an overheating issue. Subsequently I feel this also results in decreased battery life performance. Is this a problem that can be solved in a future update or is there something wrong with my device (nothing phone 2). Also totally off topic but but when will the new os be released? I know it might be sometime this month but is there a specific date, I’m really excited!

      Hey:
      I’ve recently updated to NOS 3.0 and I feel that my battery is draining with no reason. I don’t know if its only a perception of mine (since the last phone I had, broke with this issue) and i’m only being paranoid at this point. Does someone feel this same way? And, can someone tell me if this battery usage is normal?

      Since updating to Nothing OS 3.0 on my Nothing Phone (2), I’m experiencing SEVERE battery drain. Screen-on time is drastically reduced, battery depletes rapidly in standby, and the phone runs hotter. I’ve tried basic troubleshooting (restarts, checking battery stats, adjusting settings) with no improvement. This makes the phone almost unusable.

      Is anyone else having this issue? @Nothing, please acknowledge and investigate this. We need a fix ASAP!

        Had something similar, the route we took (a bunch of people here with this) was disabling 4g, or 4g calls, and it solved the issue. This was on 2a, so it might not do anything but it’s worth a shot?

        Ever since updating Nothing 2 to OS 3, I have been facing serious battery drain issues, and the keyboard is also not smooth. Under battery usage CPU seems to be running at high usage. Also charging is very slow. Has anyone else faced this issue or knows how to fix it?

        SamarthNP1 that’s a fingers crossed for me. Scared of what if I miss out on some data even though I take back-up. I think I should wait for the update (I hope they address this. They literally forgot about Nothing Phone (2) is what I feel)

            Wow unlike you guys my batter life has increased drastically earlier the LTPO only went down to 10,20 hz now it goes down to 1 for me not just that I’ve been experiencing drastic raise in screentime

            I personnaly experienced some battery drain at the begining, but after a few, days, it seems to have stabilized. I wonder if there is not a battery optimization process running somewhere and that it starts to last longer after some days of usage 🤔
