Phone (2) - Battery Drain Discussion
Hi, my Nothing Phone 2 has problems with high battery consumption no matter if I use it or not. Before the update to Android 15 the battery lasted really long but now even when I don’t use the phone the battery can drain quickly. Do you have a similar problem? Did you factory reset your phone after the update?
Iam facing battery drain issue after nothing os 3 update on nothing phone 2
I am also facing same issues and waiting for a update to fix it
My phone went from 30 to 27 percent in a single minute, wut kind of battery drain even is this. Nothing you should fix your battery problem.

yeah matey that has been happening for a couple of months but some only started cmplining after last update mostly 3a users but im 2a user and I believe it’s a complete lemon and they don’t do anything to fix the battery drain constan text lag it turning in and off when it feels the urge to the atrocious 5g coverage and abismal internet reception and they bringing out models a that are barely an upgrade and calling it new model when it’s just lazy model with a gimmick and some of the problems ironed out I mean 2a 2a pro 3 3a 3pro.nit to mention the new line they need to concentrate on the released models already failing miserably I swear I got my old S10 working 2day and the difference in refresh rate smoothness of operating system and software at 10 years old still smashes the 2a I warn anyone planning on spending and changing from a flagship model like IP 16pro and I see ppl saying ohh yhe np 3 is so much better that is rubbish both Samsung and iPhone anything above 11 will still kill any np on the market idc if they say they use the latest dimemsity bla bla they probably note I say probably buy the end of process chips that aren’t as good as the first 3 quarters of the chips made in a batch this and everyone knows this is true about chip making the end of run is.always of lesser quality anyway Im done with these guys with all the faults yep faults in the 2a I wanted to send it back because it puts me I harns way as it performs so poorly and I’m a pensioner who cannot afford to just buy another they said they would help only say send it back we will fix it at ur cost and I pay for freight also this is what U get supporting independent companies starting out any other Chinese brand Oppo real me redmi Xiaomi all I could of got more for less I’m gutted I made the choice to support this company and I’ll tell anyone who will listen they will take this down straight away and ban my posts again
Gericho they will fix nothing now you will have to live with it
I’m really disappointed because I’ve just bought few months ago the Phone (2) and I’ve always had an issue with the screen brightness adjusting automatically to a level that’s far too low, so I constantly have to raise it manually. I already sent it in for repair — they claimed the problem was fixed, but it wasn’t true. Now there’s a battery issue: it dropped 10% in an hour without even turning the screen on. I’ll be selling this device and getting a proper smartphone. This is not a flagship, despite what they want you to believe. The ultra-wide photos are terrible, and the others rely too heavily on AI — everything looks fake. The CPU is fine, the screen is passable, and the only reason I kept it this long was because of the battery life. It’s marketed as a fantastic product, but the support and the development team in general are subpar. The design is great, but it hides a poorly supported smartphone — it’s definitely not a “set and forget” device.
