Hello Peeps
My name is Vinod. I’m a 40 year old IT engineer from Bengaluru, India.
Though I had heard of Nothing earlier, I gave it a closer look only after the recent launch of phone 3. I appreciate that Nothing focuses on design and aesthetics, both at the hardware and software levels. I also like the fact that it has a passionate tech community. Can’t think of any other manufacturer having something like this.
I want Nothing to focus on innovation and design, leading users into new possibilities in the tech world.
I’m an avid hi-fi audio enthusiast and appreciate technology in general, whether it relates to fighter planes, automobiles, or coffee machines.
Here’s a list of some of the phones that I’ve had:
Nokia N900: My first ‘smart’ phone was bought around 2010. I liked its design (all black, sliding keyboard) and the fact that it ran Debian Linux. Unfortunately, it couldn’t catch up with Android, and Nokia offered little support to its community.

Vivo X5 Max: Marketed as the slimmest phone of that time (2014-15). However, I bought it for its audio prowess. It had a Yamaha signal processor, Sabre DAC, and Sabre headphone amplifier. It offered good sound customization within the player itself, and performed admirably well as an audio device.

Pixel 6: great camera, AI integration. But the design can feel bland at times.
