**Welcome to the Nothing Community!** We’re glad to have you with us, and excited for you to get to know us, and for us to get to know you too. With that in mind, we’d like you to share a little about yourself with the wider Nothing family. You can say hello in any way you like (although please do give the **[Community Guidelines](https://nothing.community/d/20-nothing-community-guidelines-code-of-conduct)** a read first if you haven’t already) but if you’re stuck for inspiration, here are some starting points to help kick things off… 1. Whereabouts in the world are you? We have a truly global team and global community to boot. We’d love to hear a bit about where you’re based. 2. Let us know why you’re interested in Nothing! We’d love to know what your hopes are for this company and this community. 3. Name a piece of technology that dropped your jaw. It could be the Walkman that got you into music, or the first phone you ever owned. What was the first piece of tech that surprised and delighted you? 4. What’s your favourite movie quote, or lyric from a song? Nothing like a bit of cultural appreciation to get to know someone. 5. Post a picture of your spirit gadget. It’s like a spirit animal, but with batteries. These are just a few ideas, feel free to introduce yourselves however you like, though we would ask that you refrain from posting personal information such as your date of birth, contact info, or any other personally identifying information. Once you get used to getting sound over the bone, it’s a given. They are so light that you don’t even feel them, I mean you don’t have any problems even if you wear them all day. Every now and then I even forget that I’m wearing the Aeropex, that’s how comfortable they are.

All I can say is that bone conduction from Aftershokz/Shokz is worth every penny.

Always been intrigued by those Aftershokz ‘earphones’, I see a few people that I run with wear them. How is the sound quality? Obviously, not expecting masses of bass etc

The Aeropex have a good sound for bone conduction headphones.

The Openrun Pro are supposed to be more bass-heavy than the Aeropex/Openrun. You have more battery, better sound and fast charging, but a worse IP rating. The Openrun have IP67 and the Openrun Pro have IP55.

I remember very well those pagers you used to see hanging on your trousers and beeping regularly. The last one I had was reserved for the intervention teams for on-call duty when I was a fireman. And they still have them today.
Very practical and less expensive than a smartphone in this case of use.
