Firmware rollouts are usually staggered, meaning not all users will receive the update simultaneously. This approach allows us to monitor for any issues and ensure a smooth and stable deployment.

Hello,
Upgrade from 0.0.7.7 to 0.0.7.9 caused sound to disappear after about playback for a 1 minute (notification sounds are still present).
I contacted CMF support with that issue, and I have already:
- upgraded the app (to 3.0.1), uninstalled and reinstalled it
- made buds factory reset (button for 10 secs while in case)
- paired again with Android phone and Windows PC (problem occurs on both)

After tinkering with settings I’ve found that the problem occurs only when:
- Custom EQ is selected (regardless of levels – bass, mids, treble)
- Ultra bass is OFF

Those happen to be my preferred settings. If I only select EQ to predefined (like classical) sound is present. Or if turn on the Bass boost (even on the lowest level) the sound also appears, and it will remain after I disable Ultra bass. It will disappear again after with move any level on custom EQ or disconnect BT and connect again. I didn’t find any other setting (like ANC) that influence that problem.
Temporarily my workaround is to have Ultra Bass set to level 1 and Bass in custom EQ to -2. Since I do prefer flat response, this is less than ideal. 🙁

Is there any way to downgrade the firmware back to 0.0.7.7?
And I’m curious, is there any one else having that issue or it’s just me?

I’ve just recreated issue using Ear (web) application, do it’s definitely looks like headphones F/W bug 🙁

Przemek_P I’m having the same problem, hopefully they fix it soon. Turning on ultra bass but putting it at level 1 makes it work again but it’s obviously not ideal.

After update i face huge battery drain problem

I have tried resetting the earbuds, fully draining the battery, and testing them on different devices, but the issue persists. The earbuds hold playback for less than 2 hours at 40% volume, which is far below the expected performance.
