How to change home screen search bar bing search engine to google

Open Chrome, Settings and change your preferred search engine near the top.

I used brave as my search engine and then I clear all data of Google app(the app which provides the dock widget) and more I’m left with Google search engine automatically ,(due to deleting Google’s data) unable to get back to brave. Help me 😭

Rob ⚡️ hey, ive tried that method and brave doesnt show up in chrome’s choose default search engine option and secondly, i dont think this will work even if there was an option for brave

Anonyma Brave does have its own long search widget, does that not suit your needs?

It needs Google app to be installed on phone. If you set brave as default browser this search bar will pick that up, but only when google app is installed.

If you uninstall/disable google app, the search bar is set to default google logo and clicking on it does #nothing. 😐
