I like the watch, I like the design, some features are not yet 100%, but I think they are just software and can be easily resolved through an update.

Trust me the watch is both beautiful and premium on the outside but on the inside it is terrible. The step counting is way off base to the point when I climbed up 4 flights of stairs the step counter stayed the same. It says you are asleep when you are not too. Just look online in forums and see these problems have been happening since day 1.

Has anyone seen this review? (see link below). I am very interested in getting the Watch Pro; however, the idea that I would have to have two devices because the “tracking” technology and algorithms used in the Watch Pro (health data, workout data) are not accurate, defeats the purpose of owning the watch altogether.

I reckon the information given would be of extreme value for the CMF by Nothing team, and I hope the team takes the time to look at it and consider the necessary changes so that all the measures offered (health and workout) work as intended.

Recently i have receive the CMF Watch pro.

As with many connected bracelets and connected watches, it connects to the smartphone via Bluetooth and is compatible with Android and IOS.

The CMF Watch Pro is part of the Nothing Ecosystem.

No problem pairing it with my Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro phone, the watch was found directly and the connection was direct.

The application, available on the play store for free, is called CMF WATCH. It is translated into French and the information found there is clear.

In terms of functionality, the CMF Watch Pro Connected Watch is very similar to the ID205L and others of the same style.

The display of the CMF Watch Pro smartwatch is clear and very understandable.

The screen surface of the watch is of good quality and does not feel “plastic to the touch”.

The bracelet is durable and in a classic format.

For the rest, we find the classic functionalities for sport, notifications, etc.

Concerning the packaging, we are as simple as possible, we will find the CMF Watch Pro watch with its magnetic charging cable and instructions

I’ve never been more disappointed with a tech product than this “watch”…

PROs:

Nice build quality

Bright and easy readable screen in sunlight

Good bluetooth call quality (especially mic)

CONs:

No reliable reconnection after disconnect, sometimes bluetooth is connected but no connection to app (I’m on nothing phone 2)

Inconsistent notifications - sometimes notifications vibrate, sometimes not. Could not figure out why…

Timer app is weird. Instanty turns off by pressing button, can’t do anything when it’s set, screen always on when timer is active.

Does not have auto brightness nor scheduler to lower it at night

Useless activity detection. When working on the PC watch assumes I’m sleeping and counts it as that XD. Was shoveling dirt for an hour - 5 minutes of activity registered.

No steps activity history in app (and on watch its useless)

No screen touch/double touch activation.

It’s not “wake on wrist raise”, it’s “wake on slight wrist rotate” - display lights up when watchface is orientated up (plus minus few degrees). Super annoying when sleeping and you lay your palm down or slightly rotate a hand and watch display just turn on, very distracting. No a

I’m certain there is a ton more (bad steps/heartrate/sleep phases counting, bad menu and control design, etc) but now i’m too disappointed/frustrated to keep testing it further and will be returning it.

Can’t wait to see a non Pro version, expecting it to be a piece of wood on strap.

"I bought this device on day one after launch, and while it’s up to date, I’m facing some issues. The lack of contact names on my watch, only showing numbers, is irritating. Also, the inability to turn off sound notifications for alerts is frustrating—I only want vibration/haptic alerts. The CMF app keeps disconnecting my watch, and accessing the main menu only with the side button seems unnecessary. WhatsApp messages are cut off after 3-4 lines, forcing me to check my phone for the full message. I’d love more watch faces and AOD options. Additionally, I recently lost the charging cable, but there’s no option to buy another one. 🔌⌚

Straight to the point:

Weather app:

Weather app in the watch has to be independent of the phone’s GPS, as the watch already has inbuilt GPS.
Watchface:

Watchfaces which have already been downloaded always require to be downloaded again and that too with mandatory internet connection. If a watchface is downloaded, then it should be downloaded the first time and should be stored in the watch without the need for a phone.
Customisation: Customisation of watchface has to be more flexible. Currently, fonts and designs are very limited and that too without 12 hour time and no health and weather data.
A WATCH IS A WATCH: The purpose of a watch is to tell time, month, day and date. Most of the preloaded watchfaces ignore these essential infos. Moreover, when sliding down the screen, the date format is set as MM DD, which is not appropriate for majority of the users. Date should be placed first and month at the end. Please leave the customisation part to users openly and with a more flexible and unrestricted editing options.

I have my CMF Pro watch since December 2023, and I love it.. the look, feel, quality is brilliant. But, I had an allergic reaction to the out of the box strap that came with it, like really bad reaction. Needed to remove the strap, and replace it with a generic 22 mm fabric one. Even before I could wear it again I needed to allow my wrist to heal for over a week. This needs to be checked, and maybe recalled.

I have been using the Watch Pro in detail for the last week and there are a few things that I assume should be a priority! They are strictly associated to what I want the watch to have as a user and not related to any other brand and their offering.

Mobile app shows only Today’s step tracking and doesn’t provide a simple option to view logs.
Watch doesn’t support my fitness apps like JeFit and existing workout routines.
Stress monitoring auto trigger expected whenever heart rate jumps up instead of at a fixed interval.
Obviously, no customizable widgets, I am not interested in viewing my sleep timers over a day’s period; 1 time is fine but a dedicated widget is too much. MUSIC should have been there and even a calendar would do wonders.
No support for Google Maps. Having a smart watch should stop the need to view the phone, at least when driving. Can’t get directions from the watch.
No support for Cricket scores / favourite scores or whatever requires live updates. It’s fine if a few watch faces don’t have the kcal and steps counters. Not all of us are health obsessed. There are other things we are interested in as well.

More or less the experience is ⅖. I get the minimalist approach and that is the reason 2 points are listed. And also superior call quality.
