Just purchased Phone 2. I have a 65w OnePlus warp charger. Can I use it without it causing any problem to phone 2 ? Will it restrict the charging speed to 45...

mohanchandren Both will charge the phone 2 at the same speed, since the phone will draw a maximum of 45 watts even if the 65W Gan charger is capable of delivering more watts.

mohanchandren As I mentioned above, both will charge the NP2 equally fast.

Since the NP2 is designed to draw a maximum of 45 watts while charging, even if you use a charger capable of supplying more than 45 watts, the charging will take place at 45 watts only; the “bottleneck” is designed charging load the phone presents.

mohanchandren As regards which one is better, the CMF Gan charger has one USB A port & 2 USB C ports, so it can be used to charge more devices simultaneously while the Nothing 45 w charger can charge one device at a time.

You could also search Amazon for more economical but equally good chargers.

Gun_Put currently I am using a mi 33W QC 3.0 charger which takes almost 1.5-2 hrs to fully charge my nothing phone 2. Can you suggest some other economical and equally good chargers from Amazon. And also can you explain the technology difference between the nothing 45W charger and CMF 65W GAN charger other than the extra extra ports available.

mohanchandren If you already possess a QC 3.0 33 W charger, don’t waste money to buy another charger!

I would recommend that you charge when the battery %age drops to 25-30% & charge upto 80 - 85 % for battery longevity.

Also, go to settings>battery>Battery health. If the toggle is on, turn it off to get better charging speed.

Gun_Put No, it wont work, we need a PD certified charger, I tried with dash, warp (35 & 65) bricks, it doesn’t charge rapidly.

DivakarKadupu Dash/Warp are based on VOOC tech which is used by BBK companies.

The QC 3.0 charger that he has will charge faster than VOOC chargers.

No doubt a 45w PD/PPS charger will charge faster, but my suggestion was to use the 33w QC 3.0 charger that he has instead of wasting ₹2000 on a new charger just for the sake of 15/20 minute faster charging.

Its up to him to take the suggestion or not.

I received my CMF buds pro today. The charging case is not sturdy. The top lid of the charging case has some flex, like it has a gap for the top lid to shake a little when closed. Is this a manufacturing defects or its normal

Today I faced disconnecting issue frequently with my laptops for every 5-10 mins and even it’s not easily connecting to laptop after disconnection. And left earbuds in ear detection is working when I remove the buds, but not resuming after putting it back in my ear.
