Why is this my favourite?
Because this picture summarises the poetry my heart wrote for her in the skies.
Someone who used to be special to me once taught me to appreciate the beauty above us. She showed me how to find magic in the skies. Even though we parted ways for unavoidable reasons, I’ve held onto that part of our story through my newfound love for the skies.
Lately, I’ve been discovering mesmerizing paintings in the clouds. When the sky shifts to a unique hue, I like to believe someone’s painting up there. That’s exactly what happened on October 2nd, 2024, around 5 PM IST., in the outskirts of Bengaluru, India. The entire sky was bathed in a dusky shade of beige, and when I stepped onto the terrace, it felt like I was staring at a portal to heaven, a world where she and I existed as one.
Technique?
None, really. I just used the grid to centre it and adjusted the HDR and shadows—nothing more. This is 99.9% the original picture.
