Is there any option to hide private photos in Nothing gallery

I was looking for magic eraser feature on the gallery app because I had to remove an unwanted object from an image but saddened to see that this AI feature got removed from my nothing phone 3a. It was one of my buying factor for this phone.

Ive regularly been using the nothing gallery app and had no probs whatsoever except for one, a doodling option.

google photos has that but not the nothing gallery,i hopeable nothing could push an update with extra features like this

Exactly, the gallery app desperatly needs a markup feature for saved photos. For now, there is a workaround: take a screenshot of an image and the markup tool will appear.

I want to say only one thing to nothing about nothing theme. When you put theme to the dark mode why the launcher or theme stucked with greyish tone colour. Wht it isn’t getting completly dark as deep dark black colour. If I’m using amoled display and I want to put it on dark background mode where i supposed to get my theme complete blacked out so tht the efficiency would increase and battery would save.

Another concern I’m having is, everyday i chrge my phone to 80%. After removing charger within a minute phone is going to 79% without even using it also with no apps running in the background. Please fix it with an update.

I have stored a lot of photos in hidden folder of the nothing gallery in nothing phone 3A.

Out of the blue all of them got deleted without any reason at all that.

I didn’t clear any data, cache or anything like. They just got deleted. So many precious photos of mine.

If anybody know how to retrieve them as I didn’t have any backup for them.

What to do ??

I use my Nothing Phone 3a Pro to do my job, I am a Civil Engineer and very often I have to take some notes directly on the pic that I shot on site.

It is something that I have always done with al my old phones and I don’t know the Nothing Gallery not allow me to do this, i have to switch on google photo gallery but It is very uncomfortable.

Could you please provide at improve the photo editor function of the Nothing Gallery?

Gallery looks great but never works…the photo never update itself.. whenever im opening the gallery it will only show photos from last month & take 30-40 seconds to update my new photos.

After that when I close the app & open again….it will only show the old photos..again it will take 30-40 seconds to update the new photos..

THIS LITERALLY HAPPENS EVERY TIME.

Interesting. I don’t have that problem but another one: Geo-Tagging is absolutely off and I cannot use the app at all because of that. Every picture I take is sometimes more than 50 kilometres away from my actual location. That was already the case six months ago and it still hasn’t been fixed. Because of that its unusable for me.

Nothing gallery can be developed. Even though I have the nothing gallery I use google photos for in app image editing they can add image editing tools and ofcourse they could hide the hidden photos folder from main screen.

I am using the cmf phome 2 pro for 2 months, the older version of the gallery was much better we could acess the magic erase and other ai features easly, but the recent update is so annoyingly bad…why are we supposed to use google photos instead of the default gallery application in the phone, i hope you guys will sort this out as soon as possible.

Where Basic Photo Editing Features in Nothing Phones?

Regarding photo editing on Nothing phones, why are basic features missing? For example:

Writing text on photos

Blurring specific parts of an image.

Adding emojis.

None of these basic functions are available in Nothing’s built-in photo editor.
