Hi! I got my very first nothing phone and im loving it! Though, i’ve noticed when im using the Nothing Icon app, it doesnt have an option to only apply on the home screen, not including the app library. I hope that the Nothing team can include that feature in the future updates!

Make AOD option to only appear if there are new notifications

Redesign the buttons of the 3 button navbar at the bottom to match the user interface (eg. dotted symbols)

This actually matters.

In lot’s of apps there’s a opposite colour under the gesture Bar that doesn’t match colours and it gives some cheap vibes…

Details matter a lot, specially for Nothing brand.

Plus.. it would be nice that the whole OS would have been changed to amoled black.

It’s so good if there’s an option to see connected devices and limit connection in hotspot.

Please Nothing, add an option in the settings that, when you are in a quiet place, increases the gain of the microphones to hear better.

Or just a slider that I can adjust.

I remark that you should implement it as an option for people like me that doesn’t care if there’s any white noise because of the volume of the microphones.

I just want to hear the conversations!

Because it feels muffled when talking to other people but, in loud places, it sounds perfectly, that’s why I’d recommend to set some gain in quiet places.

As I’ve updated to NOS3, I noticed that most of the new clock designs have no quick look. This is a problem since it is a feature I use to see what’s on my calendar without unlocking my phone. I thought “No problem, I’ll just add the widget” and to my surprise the widget is also unavailable to add to the lockscreen. Nothing aims for us to depends less on our phone, hence the glyph lights, so this is a feature I really need!

There are many features available in NOS, but a few basic ones are missing. 😕

There is no option to restrict any app from using the internet or background network.
There is no built-in file manager, which should ideally be feature-rich and faster than Google’s Files app or any other third-party app.
Sound enhancement (Equaliser)features are not customizable. It would be better if these features were grouped together as an option in the sound menu.
Battery monitoring should be proprietary rather than relying on Google’s app. The current app is inaccurate and shows incorrect data.
The UX is great, but the UI could be more polished. New native apps specific to Nothing should be added. While Google apps provide timely updates, they have become increasingly intrusive. For example, why does an SMS app need access to location and camera permissions? And why does the phone/dialer app need constant internet access?

thalapathy if you go into App Info -> Mobile Data Usage, you can toggle off background data usage.

It would be great if the volume control menu was redesigned with smoother and more attractive animations.

The current volume control menu looks old and lacks any animation. A redesign could make the overall look of the operating system more attractive and distinctive
