Notifications on watch not being cleared when dismissing them from phone

I have this issue where with Snapchat for example, I’ll get a notification on my watch, I’ll open it on my phone, and then it disappears from my phone, but it still stays there on my watch and I have to manually go onto the watch to also delete the notification, I also can’t see time stamps of when notifications come in on the watch, any help?

To my knowledge, this is how it works. I’ve always had to manually clear my notifications from the watch.
