Why the Indian varient doesn’t support esim

For travelers like us esim is essential

And most of the network operator support esim

You should do something about it

I guess you can’t change hardware but you can give a opinion of esim through software if possible

AkashMondal it’s annoying when they offer different skus. In Australia retailers will buy the “less desirable” sku for cheaper and not disclose. I had to return my 3a pro half an hour after purchase as barely any carriers down under still offer physical sims (especially not without a 20 business day wait)

If the global variant of the Phone (3a) Pro supports eSIM, there’s no clear reason why the Indian variant doesn’t.

At this price (~₹30,000), eSIM should be a standard feature, not region-restricted.

Nothing team — can you please clarify if this is:

a hardware limitation, or
something that can be enabled via software update?

We need a clear answer.

Very very very disappointed getting to know that the India variant does not have e-SIM compatibility. Was super excited about switching to Nothing. Wouldn’t have bought the device otherwise. And who does that? Leave a feature out in a very specific region? Big L.
