Hi team,

I’m experiencing “a camera lag issue” on my Nothing Phone (3a), not just in “Portrait mode”, but also in “normal photo mode”.

Whenever I try to capture multiple images quickly, the camera becomes “laggy”, with a noticeable “shutter delay” and sometimes even a few seconds of “freezing”. This happens in both “Portrait” and “regular Photo” modes.

This issue makes it hard to capture moments when speed is important, especially during events or continuous shooting.

Here’s details:

Issue type: Camera lag/freeze during multiple quick shots

Modes affected: Portrait and Normal Photo mode

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Camera app

2. Take 3–5 photos quickly

3. Notice delay, stutter, or short freezing

Tried: Restarting phone, clearing camera app cache, and updating software — but the issue still persists

Software version: Android OS 15

Please look into this and let us know if a fix is coming in a future update.

DevendraBisen You are shooting in HDR. With HDR on camera shoots a lot of images at once, all of them at different exposure, to merge them together to a final photo you see.

If you rapidly capture multiple HDR photos of course that the phone is going to become slower, it’s a limit of a processing power, because when you “take 3-5 photos quickly” with HDR you are actually taking 30-50 different photos in probably one second. One single second, 30 to 50 photos. A phone has to process (edit) all those photos to give you those actual 3-5 final photos you see. All in one or two seconds.

Even many current flagships struggle with that, and those phones are significantly more expensive…

Exposure issues arises while using the 2x telephoto lens in video mode and while clicking photos. Please fix this, already mentioned it in feedback section

Now days i face a issue 4k video gitter so plz clear this in nothing 3a The frames extracted from the video reveal the likely cause of the unclear camera vision:

Blurriness and Low Contrast: The frames appear visually blurred, making text or fine details hard to discern. This could be due to:

Camera out of focus

Dirty or smudged lens

Low-quality screen recording or compression artifacts

Motion Blur or Poor Lighting: If the camera or screen is moving during capture, or if the ambient light is low, it can cause a loss of clarity.
