5G = 1% battery 1 hour 15 minutes
Wifi = 1% for 3 hours
This is normal battery consumption.
Replace the SIM card with your operator. It’s free.
With my operator, they have two sim card manufacturers. Made in Germany and Made in Taiwan. Taiwan consumes more energy. When I asked for a second SIM that is Made in Germany, the consumption was almost twice as low. (It was not now, but 4 years ago).
It is important to monitor how much Nothing Phone consumes battery in idle mode.
It stands still.
With, and without wifi connection via 5G network.
The rest is irrelevant… there is no need to compare the screen involvement of someone who plays games or uses Meta applications and someone who uses a browser and just watches YT.
Let’s say… you see my picture. Proton VPN icon. 24/7 all internet traffic goes through the VPN. It doesn’t drain the battery. About 2-3%. So I would have even better results without VPN.
Measure how many hours 1% lasts. That is important. Everything else is irrelevant.
