I recently purchased the Nothing Phone 3a and have noticed that the battery drains very quickly during WhatsApp video calls. Even with a full charge, the battery percentage drops significantly within a short period. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Are there any settings or optimizations that could help reduce battery consumption during video calls? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

It seems the battery drain is higher in nothing 3a. Am just a casual user. Even though, am facing the battery drain issue. I have disabled the background activities for all the apps.

Would be better if the following software updates for nothing 3a ensures the battery optimisation.

Not sure for the colours to be exact like on the screenshots, I haven’t found these either, so idk from which wallpapers these are from😂

Thanks🫡. But as you mentioned, I did not get the same colour scheme as in the screen shot but I think that’s due to the customisation options in Android.

I heard Android 16 update might roll out to the nothing 3 phone inbetween September and November. I have the 3a so I should wait and see when I will get it. Hopefully not too late from then.

Sid_igThMG2Ztl try to generate Iridescence + painting or Iridescence + modernist, so maybe you can find these colours in some creations 🙂 sometimes, I guess, it also depends on colours that atmosphere did at the moment when the wallpaper it set

354 posts regarding battery issues in phone (3a)!!!! And still not even trying to fix it. It’s been 4 months since I bought this at the first day of the sale, waiting for a new update to fix this extreme battery drain. It’s really unacceptable from nothing, i trusted your brand that’s why I got this in the first day. The battery drain is affecting my productivity and I need to carry my powerbank everywhere!. I hope and I still believe in you guys and I’m waiting for the update to fix this pathetic battery drain.

After the recent update, I also noticed this, and one thing more, when I am using a 5G network, it is draining significantly. It should be fixed with the next update as soon as possible because I have to charge it twice a day

I have 3a Pro for a month now and for the time being I don’t have battery issues. I hesitate to update to 1841 because of expected battery drain. I have questions for people experiancing this problem. Have you restarted your devices after the update? Does region matters (different hardware and/or software versions) and if it does whitch regions are affected most?

harisuresh06207 Can you also check the cmf charger if it is showing current in cable.(Check with a tester)

I faced the same issue in my 3a pro as well. I bought it just a week ago and I faced and noticed this issue of battery drain since day 1. Now I completely drained the battery and then I charged it to 100% without interruptions basically rebooted the battery, the problem has been resolved for now hopefully for forever. And I have turned off the AOD as well that might have helped as well.

Recently bought nothing phone 3a and currently it is in Nothing OS 3.1 and it is seamless experience i am getting but there is some battery drain issue i am facing. I mean it consumes a lot of battery while watching Youtube, I watched 1 hr video in half brightness and it drains 20% of battery. Even while scrolling in instagram for 30 mins continuously it drains 12% of battery. There is literally battery drain issue in phone 3a . It’s my request to nothing developers please fix this issue ASAP with 3.2 or future updates.

I am facing a huge battery drain issue after the new update.Before i got a full day usage battey.But after the update i only getting battery for upto 8 hours.Anyone facing this problem?? What is the solution for this problem??
