Had the same issue, for me it was the the plastic lid connection to the metal latch in the back. You can basically just pull out that plastic lid connection from the metal latch and insert it back in. The plastic part that you put into the metal latch was bent, which is why when the lid was open it wasnt in a 90 degree angle position and when it was closed it didnt fully close.
I could fix it by opening the lid, holding the metal latch at its position with one finger and pushing the lid back into a 90 degree angle. Then it closed properly again
