[Glyph App] Glyph Notifications – Take Control & Join the Beta!

Hi everyone! I’ve developed an app that takes Nothing OS Glyph Notifications further, giving you more control over how they behave! **What does it do?** Glyph Notifications is inspired by Essential Notifications, which lights up a Glyph when you receive a notification while your phone is locked. But with one key difference: ✅ You can choose which Glyph to light up for each app. Plus, you can assign multiple Glyphs to the same app to create a custom flash pattern! 101C1TanmayShetty Thanks for reporting this! I haven’t been able to test on a Phone (1) myself, so this feedback is super helpful. I’ll look into it—could you confirm if it happens every time or just in certain cases? Also, does the Glyph turn off when you disable ‘Essential Lights’ from the home page? A screenshot would also be really helpful!

GlyphLab identical issue can be encountered when using the 15 zones ringtone on phone 1.

Hey it’s me again, few points from playing around with the app:

The play store listings mentioned phone 2 exclusively, all others devices should be added.
Upon opening the app for the first time, my 3a Pro was detected as a 3a.
When the essential is on, and I get an essential notifications that was set up natively in the OS, it doesn’t show - it seems that your essential notifications are overwriting the native OS’s ones.

101C1TanmayShetty Yes developers can fix that using some other glyph functions. I don’t have this in my app and I am sure he also knows which glyph function to use in the code to fix that.

GlyphLab I think you just have to add glyph support. Nothing much to change because 2a and 2a plus has same glyph zones and design. That’s what I did. And also try not to use animate for Phone (1). That has that bug. You can use toggle function

Working pretty fine for my nothing 3a pro, settled for just a couple of apps.

Would be great have a charging indicator, not as volume, but maybe only on the number of gliph on.

I’ve 3 gliphs on my phone, so 30%=1 gliph / 60% = 2g / 90-95% = 3 gliphs .

Ujjwal-Nepal It will be available soon. Actually it was scheduled for 31st but due to Google’s review it couldn’t be out and that’s why I am adding everyone interested in closed beta till Google approves my app

It’s now been a week since the beta started — thank you all for testing the app and for the amazing feedback you’ve shared so far!

🔄 A new update is now live on the Play Store. Here’s what’s new:

Bug fixes for Phone (1) users
You can now assign a Glyph to a specific contact or group
Updated the icon to match the Nothing icon pack
Refreshed design
