[A]Expected Behaviour: When I log into Essential Space by entering my credentials (i.e., my email (outlook) and password), I expect the app to save my data and remain logged in until I clear its app data or take a similar action. I also expect it to provide AI insights from clips recorded using the Essential Switch button and to read screenshots taken with that key
Actual Behaviour: When I log into Essential Space by entering my credentials (i.e., my email address and password), the app logs me out after 3–5 minutes. After that, it does not provide the AI insights I want because I am logged out. I then have to log in again, which leaves me stuck in a loop.
[C]Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Essential Space on the Nothing Phone 3A running Nothing OS 4.
- Navigate to the Login page.
- Enter your email, in my case, it’s Outlook.
*You can take screenshots after logging in to see the AI insights.
4\. After successful login, go back to the main page of Essential Space.
5. (a) Go to the Main homepage of the Nothing UI, clear the app from the “Recents Menu”. Wait for 3-4 minutes
(b) Go to app info, and press on Force Stop and also wait 3-5 Minutes.
(Optional)- Take 2-3 Screenshots or Media recording while waiting.
6. Reopen the Application, observe the “You’re Logged out Dialogue box” instead of normal operation.
[D]Environment:
Device: Nothing Phone 3a (Black | 256GB|8GB)
Operating System: Nothing OS 4
Application: Essential Space (v 1.0.31)
User Account: Standard User
[E]Frequency and Impact: This happens 100% of the time when I follow these steps on my Nothing phone. I have tested it multiple times over several months. The issue prevents me from extracting information from my screenshots, which in turn prevents me from creating to-dos and setting schedules. As a result, the app is losing its value for me.
[F]Additional Information:
I cleared the app cache and app data using different combinations.
I restarted my phone multiple times.
I reinstalled the app using the disable option.
I have attached screenshots as evidence
