Indian users have the function of United Payments Interface (UPI) on Amazon Pay which integrates the bank accounts of the users with the UPI functionality on Amazon Pay enabling seamless payments directly from their bank accounts. However, when I tried enabling Amazon Pay UPI on my Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, the service was shown as disabled due to security concerns. How can we resolve this issue?

Hi team,

I’m unable to register for Amazon Pay UPI on my Nothing Phone (2a). The Amazon app shows this error:

"Device not supported

UPI payments via Amazon Pay are not supported on this device due to security concerns."

I tested the same Amazon account and number on another phone, and it worked fine — so the issue seems specific to the 2a.

Other UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm work perfectly. Since Amazon Pay is my main UPI method, this is a major inconvenience.

Hope the team can look into this. Anyone else facing

rajjain101 Yes, I had faced the same issue with the my Nothing 2a. I hope the Nothing team will solve these issue.

I am purchased nothing 2a plus 15th of june. But till now i am facing the same issue. I contacted amzon earlier many times. They told me this problem happened from Amazon side. They turn of verification process for security reasons or they don’t know when it is fixed.

I literally thought i was from Amazon problem after i resetted my phone it showed like that then almost one month gone now seeinth community posts made me realise iam not the only one facing this issues 🤣🤣🤣
