I switched from a Samsung to a Nothing and my main reason was that I would have less trouble with my phone looking bad. Visuals are very important for me, nice looking things motivate me to use them more and this just felt like investing into a designer bag where you also get the brand’s vision with the product.
But where is the vision? There are a handful of widgets stock which cannot decide if they want the Ndot font or some random times new roman and of course you cannot change them, the BW iconpack is unusable because you actually cannot find anything BW but if you still were fully committed to the bit, your bubble would burst after opening the first app because of course an OS known for being BW has forced dynamic colours that even if you set to black gives you a navy blue. But at least we got a nice weather app and a gallery app that is a Google Photos reskin.
I get that it’s a small company but if you are going to go so heavy on visuals you should at least do the bare minimum.
I currently do not use anything Nothing or Nothing inspired on my homescreen but any suggestions?
