Idk why,but phone 2 pro has 50 mp camera and a 16 mp selfie camera but the images are very bad in selfie camera,and when we switch to 0.5 angle the camera app misbehaves like it is crashing,so much bug in camera,please fix it in software update

still waiting for team to give at least good camera software update , so that picture should not loose there natural look. i believe the previous one year back camera processing is good. now its heavily modify the quality and object. so I stop demanding new update for camera , otherwise this one also going to be ruined.

Very bad experience to use CMF 2 pro to use camera. After click, photo automatically modified and over proceed, which looks very bad. Need solution???

i do not know how you guys find this but i find it very frustrating that everytime when i use my phone’s camera i have to turn off HDR and fix the 12mp photo to 50mp..if i am capturing some photo in hurry ,i have to follow these things first

please tell me the logic behind this setting ..

abstractethic You can create a preset in which HDR is off, resolution is 50 and make is the default one. I just did it as I too find it annoying.

The camera quality in the selfie mode is bad. it blurs my face according to the tubelight brightness.
the brightness slider is un responsive. i have to scroll multiple times before i get the required brightness
I can’t switch between front and back cameras in the video mode please solve these issues.

I’m using the CMF Phone 2 Pro, and I’ve noticed heavy over-processing in selfies taken with the front camera. The skin looks unnaturally smooth, details get lost, and the final image looks very different from the preview before capture.

I’ve attached screenshots for reference:

I’ve already tried:

Turning off beauty/face enhancement
Using different zoom levels (1x / 1.2x)
Checking camera settings thoroughly

But the issue still persists. The processing seems baked into the selfie pipeline and kicks in automatically after capture.

My questions:

Is there any way to completely disable this post-processing?
Can we get a “Natural / Minimal processing” toggle for the front camera?

Would love to hear from other users facing the same issue.

So after nov update, main camera is still cooked and they have not work on that I guess.

I have recently brought a new CMF 2 Pro. It is now asking me to update the OS 3.2 version. But after researching on some client comments after OS 3.2 update I have found that this and the consecutive update 4.0 has a significant camera issue like:
1. Image is being overprocessing after taking the photo.
2. After taking the photo it’s making the photo over smooth and degrade the color.
3. Image has over brightness issue.

I wanna keep my phone up to date but this camera issue is concerning me. Is Nothing taking any initiative to overcome this problem??

After update, my one is working fine. No problem till date.

Please do the complete factory reset once. Try again.
