The new Privacy Space in the app drower will substitute the hide app setion?

I read the Nothing 3a series changelog (here) and from what I understand, the new Privacy Space (a feature Google added in Android 15) will replace the “Hide apps” section in the apps menu.

Can anyone who has received the update confirm this?

Please bring back option to hide apps. Some of them don’t need to be visible, you configure something once and do not need to the open app ever again.

The New privacy space disables that app entirely in the system (e. g. Apps widget is removed when app is added to privacy page)

Really expecting this feature to come back!
