This is my concept for the Phone (3)!
I’ve created both a white and a gray version (my personal favorites) and put together a video. So here they are:

I noticed quite a few people in the community are really into the idea of a dot matrix display instead of the glyph interface this time, since Nothing teased it and later leaked it. But I decided to stick with the original Glyph Interface because I genuinely like it on my Phone (3a), and the dot matrix wouldn’t have been my idea. I wanted to make something truly original.
When I started working on this concept, I didn’t just want to make a “spec sheet with a frame.” I wanted to build something that actually tells a story. A phone that doesn’t just look good in renders but feels like a product that should exist - something I’d personally be excited to use.
I spent way too much time obsessing over small details: Where would the lines go? Would this actually feel like a Nothing product? The hardest part was probably trying to keep the design clean but still adding enough unique elements to make it stand out.
But yeah - even if I don’t win, I’m super proud of what came out of this.
Ahh, what were we talking about again? Right - the Glyph interface! Here’s how it would look if you turned off every light in the world and just let the Glyphs glow:

The core idea behind my concept is the Essential Space in the center of the phone - and if you look closely, you’ll really see it.
Instead of just slapping an app icon in the middle, which I think would look awkward, I used the Glyph lights to shape a clean, hexagonal structure. I really liked the large, bold, flat, flexible cable things from the 2a and 3a series, but also the circle in the center from the Phone (1) and (2). So I created a blend of both ideas.
The center highlights the wireless charging coil, which also looks a bit like it’s rotating. That connects to the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (top-right), which then links to the main power supply and lower board (bottom-left). So, in short, the processor, power supply, and Essential Space are all visually and conceptually connected.

And for those who are into specs, here’s a look at some of the hardware:

For anyone wondering, here are the tools I used for this concept:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dimension, Onshape, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Firefly, and last but not least - pen and paper.
