Pedometer widget not syncing after latest update

Hi All,
I am seeing pedometer widget is not syncing with the lock screen pedometer widget.
Both shows different step counts. Lock screen pedometer widget doesn’t even refreshed to zero when day ends.
Either I need to restart the phone or remove the widget from lock screen and again add it in order to sync. Please fix this

Try clearing the data of Nothing Launcher app once.

Hi, Clearing Cache and Data is helping , but does not resolve this issue completely. after a few hours the pedometer widget will not update , if i go to the lockscreen customization page , it will start to work and update again.

Also i should add this : I’m facing this behavior on my partner’s Nothing Phone 2 too. Clearing Cache and Data helped a little and increased the interval of syncing issue , but didn’t solve it completely. It seems the Source of problem is same in both phones.

I am facing this issue from may update in my 3a.

And also If u turn on AOD then the widget completely freezes in the lock screen. This is the only widget that I mainly use.

It works properly when added as a widget on home screen. I hv raised the issue to Nothing tech but no response yet…

Hopefully they get it update soon

nautrish same here, the responses i got from nothing support were hilarious.

In first mail they replied uninstall the pedometer widget and re-install it 😁
In second reply I was told to visit service center and with box and all the accessories, I was stunned after reading both the replies.
Tech support is very bad, untrained professionals are assigned tickets.
For me pedometer is very crucial on lock screen, I hope in next updates they resolve it.

SRM_008 Yes, same thing happened. The steps U mentioned, and when I told them that such steps are already done by me then they pull the rabbit out of the hat to go to “service centre” for a software bug 😞😞.

I think they have saved the message in their “clipboard” and it seems like they are copy pasting it for every problem

I’ve also noticed this problem as I use this widget with the lock screen.

It’s clearly a bug, the way I’ve done to refresh it was by going to the customisation option on the home screen (wallpaper app) , tap lock screen, then do nothing and exit.

Running a brand-new nothing phone 3A, Nothing OS 3.1. Pedometer app is still broken on the lock screen widget. It has not been fixed.

Still facing this issue. Also the music widget would stop working after a few hours from last song played. Really feels like a half baked OS.

Hello Everyone,

Sharing with you that after installing the Asteroids-V3.2-250717-1803 update yesterday 2025-08-01, it is back to working correctly, YAY!

I have rebooted multiple times, added an removed the widget multiple times in multiple screens and I can confirm it has been fixed, at least on my end 😅 .

Really hope that any of you still having the issue get the update and reaolution.
