Force dark mode

How do you force dark mode? I’ve heard that some Android phones support forced dark mode. Is this also available for Nothing Phones?

In Developer Settings there is the option, but it doesn’t stay set after a phone restart, and I can’t remember if it actually manages to force everything dark though. I know it does work though.

And if you mean on webpages, that’d be an option or flag in the browser itself.

It’d be near the bottom in System settings, and if Developer Options isn’t there, then you’d go to the bottom of the main Settings, About Phone, and at the top where it says Nothing OS near a picture of your phone, click that, then where it says Build Number, click it fast a bunch of times then it’ll tell you that you’re now a Developer, then go back to the spot I mentioned earlier, and in that least somewhere would be a toggle to force dark mode.

I do want to "re-open"this thread as it seams Force Dark Mode in Developers section doesn’t work properly on OS 2.5.5 neither on previous versions.

Just buyed a Nothing Phone 2 and I am not able to force all my apps to use Dark Theme, which I was able to do starting from Android 10, I have same apps running on an Android 10 with dark theme enabled in Developers, but won’t work on Nothing Phone 2 [ OS 2.5.5 ], also why would Developers ENABLED settings be cleared upon restart this is another issue.

Can this be fixed Please ?
