I’m seeing two conflicting reports online, one says that the new cmf phone 2 pro has NFC and can work with services like tap to pay, and others that say that the phone says it has NFC but it actually doesn’t. So which is it? Cos it would be a shame to go back to my old iPhone just because NFC isn’t functional on this brand new phone (bought in Australia). All updates applied, brand new phone, NFC is enabled, tap to pay is rejected by EFTPOS machines. So, it’s not like the phone or point of sale isn’t doing anything, it’s being actively rejected.
