Thank you for the June update for the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus.
I’ve noticed some heating issues that weren’t present before, and I hope this gets resolved or optimized in future patches. On a positive note, battery performance has improved—likely because I uninstalled unused apps and games, which helped extend battery life noticeably before it drains.
There haven’t been any changes to the camera, but mobile data connectivity is slightly better now, with fewer occurrences of the exclamation mark on the status bar. While the overall changes may seem minimal, I remain grateful for the consistent rollout of software updates.
I do want to raise one remaining issue: here in the Philippines, we use the eGov PH app to access digital government IDs. For over a month now, I’ve been unable to view my IDs within the app using this phone. This issue wasn’t present before, and the app worked fine on my device in the past. Interestingly, the same app functions normally on other phones, especially after the app was updated by its developer. I hope this compatibility issue can be looked into, as it affects daily utility and access to essential services.
Looking forward to more improvements and especially the release of Android 16 in the coming months.
