This new “Glyph Matrix” display looks like a lot of fun, as well as super useful functionally.
Whilst I adore the OG Glyph Interface, I understand that there is only so much information it can relay, through light sequences alone.

Hoping that this Glyph Matrix is an addition on top of what the Glyphs offer us, I still love the use of Essential Glyph, and I know that many enjoy the battery indicator on Phone (1) and Phone (2). I wonder if the two could be present on the Phone (3)?

Phone (3) is hotly anticipated and I cannot wait to see what the team have cooked up! 🔥

Hmmm. While I like the concept, I’m not sold on the placement and, from this glimpse, I prefer the look of the glyph interface. However without seeing the full back of the phone it’s hard to judge.

But tbh. I have the back of my phone entirely covered 99% of the time so either way I’d barely see it.

I’m more concerned that the camera placement is in the opposite corner and not central like the 3a series as my favourite case requires the camera to be in the top left (looking at the back).

Rob ⚡️ I’m really excited to see what you guys have been working on And even tho I trust you guys. I really hope you guys didn’t actually killed the glyph interface… I hope you guys are hiding how this will integrate the best of both worlds. I feel the glyph still has lots of potential and growth to have that it’ll be really sad to say goodbye to it so soon.

To be honest, it should have been bigger. Also for the people saying glyph was of no use, it was.

Flip to glyph, essential notification, especially light during clicking our recording, it worked as warm light which this dot matrix can not do.

I think there should be more to this. If this is the only thing. I might have to skip this one and wait for 4

sheldon. it’s ok to have a glyph matrix design this time atleast as a young company nothing is trying to be more experimental and techie than most of the companies who only pushes specs and not a single optimization

I think they have an ace up their sleeve. If the leaks are to be believed, the ‘Glyph Matrix’ would be somewhat similar to HTC’s Dot Matrix Design ( Remember that ?) .
